The National Association of Women and the Law (NAWL) is pleased to announce that it has received funding from Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) through the Canadian Women’s Foundation (CWF) to strengthen its organizational capacity.
NAWL is proud to be among the 34 rights-based organizations selected to advance gender equality through our systems change work. Collectively, our work will help shift laws, policies, and systems, advancing meaningful, long-term progress toward gender equality in Canada.
This funding comes at a pivotal moment for the feminist sector, as women’s rights organizations throughout Canada are addressing urgent needs while advancing long-term systems change.
NAWL will use this funding to strengthen the foundations that support our growing feminist law reform work. As we launch our 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, this investment will help us advance our goals and build a stronger, more sustainable organization. NAWL is deeply grateful to Women and Gender Equality Canada and the Canadian Women’s Foundation for their support.
