En 2006, les d\u00e9put\u00e9es et d\u00e9put\u00e9s du Dakota du Sud ont adopt\u00e9 une loi criminalisant l\u2019avortement sauf lorsque que ce dernier est n\u00e9cessaire pour sauver la vie de la m\u00e8re. La loi ne permet aucune exception \u00e0 la r\u00e8gle, m\u00eame en cas de viol ou d\u2019inceste.<\/p>\n<p>Plus pr\u00e8s de chez nous, plusieurs membres du gouvernement Conservateur de Harper &#8212; y compris des membres du Cabinet &#8212; font partie du mouvement anti-choix. L\u2019ANFD demeure vigilante pour prot\u00e9ger et consolider les droits des femmes en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 reproductive au Qu\u00e9bec et au Canada.<\/p>\n<p><b>M\u00e9moire &#8211; La Convention am\u00e9ricaine des droits de l\u2019Homme<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La Convention am\u00e9ricaine des droits de l\u2019Homme est un instrument important des droits de la personne. Pourtant, elle contient une clause pr\u00e9voyant le droit \u00e0 la vie \u00ab en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00e0 partir de la conception \u00bb. La ratification de la Convention pourrait donc avoir des cons\u00e9quences importantes pour les droits des femmes en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 reproductive au Canada.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nawl.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/attachments\/Pub_Brief_AmConvHR03_fr.pdf\">Ratifier la Convention am\u00e9ricaine des droits de l\u2019Homme: les enjeux pour les femmes <\/a>\u00a0(Novembre 2003)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Lettres ouvertes<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>11 ao\u00fbt 2004: <\/b>L\u2019ANFD a \u00e9crit au ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res pour soulever la question \u00e0 savoir si &#8211;et comment &#8212; le Canada doit ratifier la Convention am\u00e9ricaine des droits de l\u2019Homme.<\/li>\n<li><b>F\u00e9vrier 2004: <\/b>Sans l\u2019assurance que les droits en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 reproductive des femmes y compris le droit \u00e0 l\u2019avortement seront formellement garantis, l\u2019ANFD ne pourra appuyer la ratification de la Convention am\u00e9ricaine. L\u2019ANFD a \u00e9crit au ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res pour lui fait part de sa pr\u00e9occupation.
