The NAWL Charitable Trust
To promote understanding of the status and role of women in Canadian society, NAWL established the NAWL Charitable Trust for Research and Education in 1983.The Trust funds, prepares and disseminates research and education about legal issues in all aspects of the social, economic and political life of Canadian women.
In January 2010 the Trust provided grants to four researchers working on legal issues that affect women. Their publications will be available in the NAWL Library in Fall 2010. The Trust has also recognized law students with an annual essay contest.
You can support the critical work funded by the Trust by making a donation. The Trust is a registered charity and all donations over $10 are tax creditable.
